rpa:group was required to develop new branding and environments for The Life Store – an NHS store that promotes heart checks, stop smoking services, body mass index tests, baby hearing clinics and a range of advice on healthy lifestyles.

Required to consolidating a number of disparate service offerings, the new interactive and distinctive design looked to break down any barriers people may have in taking that first step towards a healthier lifestyle. Visitors can use touch screen and plasma technology to seek out information on a wide range of health conditions with assistance from staff to answer any queries.

The new branding and environment of the Life Store has succeeded in driving footfall and increasing patient engagement. Feedback from users indicated that rather than patients, they considered themselves as customers and enjoyed the transformation of the new interior, finding it an engaging and friendly space for convenient health checks and information.
