Skills:

• Computer literate (Mac or PC)
• Hand sketching / rendering skills
• Fluent in a combination of following software packages:
• Adobe CS (specifically Photoshop) / Sketch-Up / 3dStudioMAX / AutoCAD

We are looking for:

• Educated to at least degree level in related disciplines: interiors/architectural/exhibition design
• At least 2 years post-college design industry experience, preferably with on-site or client-facing experience
• Experience of basic construction and detailing methods preferable
• An ability to quickly generate and develop concepts and communicate them succinctly
• Attention to quality and detail
• A confident communicator, imaginative and resourceful
• An ability to work productively independently or as part of a team

Adobe CS: specifically Indesign / Photoshop / Illustrator / Acrobat
• Web design / programming skills (dependant on project)

• At least 2 years post-college design industry experience, preferably with on-site or client-facing experience
• Experience of print ready artwork setup a necessity
• An ability to quickly generate and develop concepts and communicate them succinctly

• A confident communicator, imaginative and resourceful
• An ability to work productively independently or as part of a team

Profile

You will have had previous management experience and be looking for the opportunity to grow and develop a small team working on education, large scale residential and leisure projects with the value ranging from £200k to £10m.

Areas of Expertise

You will be a qualified Architect registered with ARB (likely to have in the region 10 years post qualification experience) with a technical bias and a minimum of 5 years UK experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client liaison skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Designer to join our Design studio.

Profile

You will take creative direction from our Creative Design Manager and be able to quickly develop a number of creative options supported by the junior team. You will take responsibility for the development and production of multiple projects within the studio responding to planned and reactive workload, while building an understanding of the strategic support role within the wider business.

Areas of Expertise

  • Be highly experienced in all stages of creative development and delivery of commercial environments
  • Have an extensive background of creative design with focus on Hotel & Leisure, F&B and commercial interiors.
  • Have an expert knowledge and experience of material specification and construction methods informing the creative process
  • Have excellent presentation skills, both verbally and written with demonstrable experience of concept-to-delivery working
  • Be confident in defining direction, presenting ideas and communicating effectively across the Team and wider business
  • Be comfortable working independently on smaller projects or managing a team of designers on larger projects
  • Have a keen eye for detail and design quality, delivering consistently high quality ideas and presentation output to the client

Skills:

  • Hand Sketching / Rendering
  • SketchUp + Twilight / Podium Render
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, Primarily Photoshop and InDesign
  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)
